Police have arrested a man who went on a robbery spree in two states on Sunday in which he took money from a gas station and attempted to get cash at a casino’s VIP gaming lounge.
Richard Martinez wore a face covering that law enforcement likened to a mask or scarf when he carried out the offenses. The 29-year-old did not get any money from the VIP Gaming lounge in Sioux City, South Dakota before fleeing.
He then went into a Pump ‘N Pak gas station in Sergeant Bluff, Iowa, where he wielded something that appeared to be a gun; the cashier gave Martinez money from the register.
