Expanding the offering
BetMGM is now offering casino game titles from Playtech on its New Jersey online casino platforms. The operator, jointly owned by GVC Holdings and MGM Resorts, is adding the games to its BetMGM Casino, PartyCasino NJ, and Borgata Online platforms.?
This deal with Playtech will also extend to other states where BetMGM has an online casino presence. In the announcement, BetMGM vice president of gaming Matthew Sunderland talked about how the company’s online customers can now “enjoy casino games from one of the world’s leading suppliers of gambling software.”

Playtech chief operating officer Shimon Akad said that this an exciting first step as it looks to expand across the country. He went on to say: “This strategic deal demonstrates the strength of Playtech’s US proposition and the appeal of our gaming offering in the region as we continue to launch our pipeline of new US licensees.”
Playtech entering new markets
Before this BetMGM collaboration, Playtech made its initial foray into the New Jersey market in August, launching content through the Bet365 online casino. The two companies are long-term strategic partners, already working together in global markets.
The game developer had gotten permission from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement in June to supply its online casino games in the state.?
BetMGM making moves
BetMGM has been operating in New Jersey since September 2019. In July, the company launched an online casino in West Virginia with the Greenbrier Resort.
Another leading casino game developer, NetEnt, signed a deal with BetMGM to offer its games through the BetMGM online casino in West Virginia. The operator is also planning to launch online casinos in Pennsylvania and Michigan in the near future.?

To generate more exposure for the brand, BetMGM is launching a new campaign called The King of Sportsbooks, which will star leading actor and musician Jamie Foxx. The brand also has partnerships with numerous sports teams and leagues, as well as a collaboration with VSiN on a sports betting show called Betting Across America.
